Sardar Bahadur Amin Chand Soni Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (SBACS-AFPI), Bajwara, Hoshiarpur, is the third and one of its kind Institute in the State of Punjab to train the youth for a career as officers in the Defence Forces of India. The Institute trains aspiring graduates (male and female) candidates for entry into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Naval Academy (NA) through UPSC and service conducted examinations.
It will also prepare candidates for direct entry through the Service Selection Board (SSB) for Technical Graduate Course (TGC) and NCC Special Entry Scheme as per Government of India notifications. Additionally, the Institute will give SSB training to Doctors, Veterinary Doctors and Law Graduates aspiring to join the Defence Forces.

Training Schedule
Entrance Exam Training
Comprehensive classroom sessions, study materials, and rigorous mock tests preparing cadets for UPSC written exams including CDS, AFCAT, and INET.
SSB Training
Dedicated coaching by retired assessors covering psychological testing, GTO obstacle ground layouts, mock interview techniques, and lecturette guidance.
